Dark Age of Camelot 14-Day Free Trial

This free 14-day trial is the perfect introduction to the world of Dark Age of Camelot. From the opening video that presents the three Realms, Albion, Hibernia and Midgard in breathtaking detail, on to your immediate immersion into the tutorial that will draw you into the game, until finally your actual participation in combat on the battlegrounds. You'll quickly level up to experience Realm vs. Realm combat (RvR) Mythic's unique take on PvP combat. Are you prepared for the challenge? Our battlegrounds are open!

At the end of the 14-day trial you will have the option to subscribe and continue to use the character built up during the trial period.

Todays Bug Fixes include:

• We fixed a problem that was causing players using the 14 day trial to be unable to log into the live servers, but who were still able to log into the Pendragon server. If you are a 14 day trial user and you experienced this problem, please feel free to join our live servers at your leisure to play. We apologize for the inconvenience.
• Fixed an issue that was causing players without the Catacombs expansion to get stuck while doing a low-level introductory quest.
• When 1.75 went live, we fixed a bug that caused some bonuses to be uncapped. This specifically affected players who used Snatcher's Belt and Orion's Belt. Both of these items combined to give an 11% bonus to realm points. After this bug fix, the realm point bonus cap on these two items combined is now 10%.

Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles expansion for free.

With the launch of the Dark Age of Camelot: Catacombs expansion, the New Classic Camelot game engine will no longer be supported. New Classic users will need get the Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles expansion to continue to update and play Dark Age of Camelot.

As an active subscriber to Dark Age of Camelot, New Classic users can now upgrade to the Dark Age of Camelot: Shrouded Isles expansion for free. To upgrade your New Classic client, you will need to download and install this file over your existing New Classic installation.

If you do not have a New Classic installation then you have the original Dark Age of Camelot ('Classic Camelot') and have never upgraded - you will need to get the full upgrade here .

Please note that you will not need a CD key to receive the free upgrade, simply install the expansion and log into the game with your existing Dark Age of Camelot account to complete the upgrade process.

The Come Back to Camelot campaign kicks off an effort by Mythic Entertainment to lure knights errant back into the clutches of Dark Age of Camelot, their fantasy MMORPG, to see what's new with the addition of the New Frontiers expansion: "We're offering you the chance to come back to Camelot for free. As a former player, we'd like to give you 14 free days to discover what has kept others playing while you've been away. You won't even have to start over, your character awaits you just as you left it when you last played."

Jonric: Which aspects of this vision are you looking to realize in New Frontiers? What are the main new features you're adding, and the major changes planned to existing elements?

Matt Firor: There are so many changes in New Frontiers that it's hard to know where to begin. First, all of the frontier zones have been completely redone to include more strategic geography, including rivers, bridges, impassable mountain ranges, choke points, etc. We've also changed the frontier keeps to have visual upgrades, walls that can be destroyed, and made them have different layouts.

New Frontiers also has a complete redesign of the game's Realm Ability system, which gives players the ability to gain new skills based on their participation in RvR combat. Added to that (as if it isn't enough), we now have special battlegrounds for lower-level range players that support leveling in RvR combat all the way from level 1 through 44. There's even more, and for all the details you should proceed immediately to the official site.

Please note that if you have Shrouded Isles, then you must download the Shrouded Isles installer for New Frontiers.
